Printer Resource Management Utility (PRMU)
The PRMU works hand-in-glove with ASC's PCL and PostScript printer drivers to manage fonts, overlays, electronic forms, and other printer resources. This tool allows administrators and users to manage printer resources both locally and over their network. The PRMU makes these resources available to all the workstations in the enterprise. It is the key to a successful implementation of de-centralized demand printing systems and applications. Specifically, it downloads these resources to RAM, your printer's hard drive (if applicable), or flash memory (if applicable); or you may choose to downloaded any of the resources with each job. The PCL5e Driver can generate PCL Macros for use with PRMU. Similarly, the PostScript Driver can generate suitable EPS files for use with PRMU. This product can be fully customized for OEMs. |
