| In Business, Security is Survival. ASC has developed new technology that addresses many security areas that Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 does not address. These at risk areas include: MS-DOS boot disks, Unencrypted backup tapes, "Sniffers", Stolen hardware (laptops, diskettes, etc.), Unattended PC's, and even System Administrators. Unlike other security applications that force the user to place all encrypted data on logical disks, ASC's technology allows encrypted and non-encrypted data to exist on the same drive. The main thrust of the technology is our "On-the-Fly" Transparent Encryption Driver. It is a seamless driver that requires little of the computer's resources to execute its functions. ASC's intention was to create an encryption driver that would allow seamless PC operation and provide a secure environment which is not obtrusive or cumbersome to the user. Additional Features:
